Having worked as a community nurse for many years, but always having made things and enjoyed creative pursuits, I embarked on a 3D design degree specialising in ceramics and metal.
After graduating I worked solely in my studio at home, but missed the camaraderie of working with people and using my nursing skills. I now have a portfolio career working part time nursing and part time in my studio. It works well for me when life doesn't get in the way too much!
I enjoy running small workshops and parties for adults and children giving people the opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of working in clay and expressing their creativity.
